Faculty Position:  Professor of Liturgics

Trinity School for Ministry, Ambridge PA, an evangelical seminary in the Anglican tradition, is seeking a Professor to provide exceptional teaching services in Prayer Book, Spiritual Formation, Pastoral Care, and Mentored Ministry to Trinity School for Ministry students and who respects the evangelical Anglican ethos of the seminary.  The ideal candidate will be an Anglican with a doctorate in Liturgics.  Ordination in the Anglican or Episcopal tradition is preferred.  Applicants from the worldwide Anglican community are encouraged to apply.  Faculty rank will be commensurate with previous experience.

Trinity School for Ministry (TSM) began in 1976 and has trained more than 1,100 students from all over the worldwide Anglican Communion and other denominations.  TSM offers four degree programs:  Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Religion, Master of Sacred Theology, and Doctor of Ministry.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach for all of these degrees, as well as students undertaking certificates and diplomas.  Teaching online and intensive format classes and the sharing of related administrative work will also be expected of the candidate.

The ideal candidate must possess the ability and willingness to present, in a respectful manner, positions held by evangelical Anglicans and respect positions different from their own.  He/she must be committed to teach students and to raising up male and female leaders for the Church.  Involvement in ordained or lay leadership in the seminary and beyond is essential.
