Master of Divinity (MDiv)

The Master of Divinity degree (MDiv) prepares students for ordained ministry. This course of study is both academic and professional, covering the fields of Biblical Studies, Church History, Theology, and Pastoral Care. Concentrations are available in Church Planting, General (parish emphasis), and Global Mission. A Lutheran Track in partnership with the North American Lutheran Seminary (NALS), and a Presbyterian track in partnership with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) are also available. Traditionally this degree is completed as a full-time residential student taking three years to complete. Students unable to relocate as full-time students may take up to 2/3 of MDiv credits online.  Two consecutive semesters (either Fall-Spring or Spring-Fall) full-time at the Ambridge campus are required for the remaining credits.
