On behalf of Dean and President, the Very Rev. Dr. Henry L. (Laurie) Thompson, III
please join Trinity School for Ministry’s donors and friends for our
7th Annual President’s Conference.
October 13-15th, 2017
For a Christian, what does the Pauline phrase “in Christ” mean? What are the existential, sacramental, eschatological, and ecclesial implications? Join theologians – Marcus Johnson, Amy Peeler, and Mark Tusken at the 2017 President’s Conference in Chicago this year to deepen and unfold our understanding of Union with Christ.
Marcus received his PhD at the University of Toronto. He is Associate Professor of theology at Moody Bible Institute, Chicago. He is the author of One with Christ: An Evangelical Theology of Salvation (Crossway, 2013) and co-author (with John C. Clark) of The Incarnation of God: The Mystery of the Gospel as the Foundation of Evangelical Theology. He has been published in Touchstone: A Journal of Mere Christianity and has authored chapters in Evangelical Calvinism and Evangelical Calvinism II (Wipf & Stock, Spring 2014/2017).
Marcus and his wife Stacie have two sons, and are members of St. Mark’s, Geneva.
Amy was ordained April 2016 and is Associate Rector at St. Mark’s, Geneva. She studied at Princeton Theological Seminary (M. Div. 2005, Ph.D., 2011) and is now Associate Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College, IL.
Author of “You Are My Son”: The Family of God in the Epistle to the Hebrews (T&T Clark, 2014), she continues to write on Hebrews and familial themes in the New Testament.
Amy, and her husband Lance have three children.
The Rev. Dr. Mark Tusken has been Rector of St. Mark’s Geneva since 1994. His seminary training was spent at Trinity School for Ministry. He has assisted at churches in Casper, WY, Philadelphia, PA , and Montgomery, AL.
