Have you ever wondered about seminary? Perhaps you think God might be calling you to train for further ministry. Or maybe you have come to see how vital sound theological training is for the future of Gospel ministry and you'd like to support Trinity financially and in your prayers. You might simply like to see what goes on out of curiosity.
Trinity is pleased to offer you the opportunity to be a seminarian for a day. You simply come and join in with the activities of the students at Trinity. We gather for Morning Prayer in the Chapel at 8:30am, with students both leading and preaching. Then we move to lecture time. You are welcome to come to any of the classes and sit in - and participate, if you choose. Then you join the students, staff, and faculty for lunch.
After lunch, there will be a chance to meet with our Director of Admissions, Director of Development, student body representatives, and the Dean-President to ask any questions you might have. Then you are free to join the afternoon classes that begin at 1:30pm. It will give you a taste of what God is doing here at Trinity.
We want to make this opportunity widely available and are glad to offer these events free of charge. All we ask is that you let us know you are coming for catering purposes. The Be a Seminarian for a Day dates for fall 2010 are Monday, September 20, Tuesday, October 12, and Thursday, November 18..
Planning on staying overnight? We may be able to find a seminary family who can host you. Just let us know your plans. Accommodations are not always possible, so check with us for availability.
We do hope you will be a seminarian for a day and invite others to do the same!
