Borrowing Policies
The following is a summary of borrowing privileges:
- Non-Thesis Students 15 titles - 4 weeks - 1 renew
- Thesis Students 25 titles - 4 weeks - 1 renew
- Doctoral Students 50 titles - 8 weeks - 1 renew
- Clergy 5 titles - 2 weeks - 0 renew
- Alumni 10 titles - 2 weeks - 0 renew
- Visiting Scholars 5 titles - 2 weeks - 0 renew
- All books are subject to recall after one week. Borrowers may place holds on checked out titles, with notice by email or note in campus box. Holds not picked up after one week will be returned to the shelf.
- Special conditions must be met to qualify for visiting scholar status.
- Clergy refers to local, Ambridge-Sewickley area clergy only.
- Holds and requests to check out titles that have been previously selected by faculty as a course reserve will not be honored if the borrower's loan period will interfere with the placing of the title on reserve for that course.
- The fine for circulating (non-reserve) items is $.10 per day. The fine for course reserve items is $.25 per hour.
