The World of C.S. Lewis with The Rev. Dr. Les Fairfield

Trinity School for Ministry would like to invite you to explore with retired Professor Dr. Les Fairfield,
“The World of C. S. Lewis”- a travel-study pilgrimage.

C. S. Lewis’s imagination was deeply formed by beautiful landscapes that touched his heart. We will be exploring Lewis’s Christian worldview: his mental map of reality that supported all his writing--both fiction and prose. We will see how that map of the cosmos differs from the secular worldview of western man in the 21st century. And we will see how much more beautiful and deep and hopeful Lewis’s Christian worldview was and is today. We’ll follow the journeys of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien as we visit many of the landscapes and cityscapes that shaped their creative imaginations. This tour commemorates the 50th anniversary of C.S. Lewis’s death, and in its entirety is 14 days and encompasses two areas of study and travel.
