Over the past 40 years, Trinity School for Ministry has become known for producing ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who have a deep desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, a zeal for the salvation of souls, the competence to make disciples, and the ability to “plant, renew, and grow churches.” We are serving not only in traditional parish settings, but in many other ministries. Trinity alumni are missionaries, teachers, chaplains, counselors, youth directors, and social workers. We minister to the military and to veterans; to the homeless, the poor, the sick, and those in prisons; in traditional parishes and more creative ministries; in a wide variety of denominations and ecclesial contexts. And we can be found ministering in many languages around the globe.
You, our alumni, are not simply the “products” of an institution of theological education. You are women and men of the gospel, who have been formed to lead Christ’s people in a variety of contexts. And you are our partners in the ministry that God has called us to.
For 40 years now, we have been producing outstanding leaders for the Church. Many of you attended Trinity because of the discernment and encouragement of other Trinity alumni, or of friends and benefactors of the school.
There are many ways that you, as an alumn, can join us: Pray for the mission of Trinity, for the wisdom of our board and leadership, and for God’s abundant financial provision. Give with a joyful heart as you are led by the Holy Spirit and as you are able. Share with those around you what your time at Trinity has meant in your life. And, as you see those who may be sensing a call to ministry themselves, encourage them to contact Trinity and pray about whether God is calling them here.
Thank you for your continued work in the service of God’s kingdom. We would love to hear from you what the Lord is doing in your life and ministry.
