Job Listing:  Administrator of Academic Pathways

Trinity Anglican Seminary (TAS) is an evangelical seminary in the Anglican tradition that forms Christian leaders for mission.  Since its founding in 1976, TAS has sought faculty and staff who were both deeply committed Christians and professionally gifted.

Reports to: Vice President of Academic Affairs

Time Requirement:  FT; exempt

 

Job Summary:

 Provide administrative leadership and logistical support for the whole academic program with a concentration on the Church-Based Pathways initiative; provide instructional design and technology support for all pathways to students and faculty.  

Primary Duties: 

  • Maintain and administer relationships with current and potential institutional partners (Churches and Training Centers)
  • Enlist, train, support, and assess mentors for the mentor-based courses
  • Interface with mentors and students
  • Lead a cross-institutional team to identify and develop new church partnerships
  • Promote best practices for teaching and learning in all modalities (residential, online, and partnerships)
  • Support faculty and adjunct faculty with instructional design/technology in creation/renewal of course content for use in Canvas 
  • Ensure the usage of Canvas by faculty and adjunct faculty meets Trinity standards for residential, online, and partnerships
  • Manage student portfolios/capstones

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • Administrative organizational skills
  • Highly competent in computer usage

 

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in theology, pedagogy, and/or related field
  • Anglican theology background, preferred
  • Experience with Canvas, required; experience with ePortfolio systems, preferred
  • Experience working in higher education, preferably theological
  • Experience working in higher education administration, preferred

  • Ability to interact pleasantly with faculty, staff, students, and visitors.

  • Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
