Trinity School for Ministry (TSM) is an evangelical seminary in the Anglican tradition that forms Christian leaders for mission.  Since its founding in 1976, TSM has sought faculty and staff who were both deeply committed Christians and professionally gifted.

Reports to:  Chef

Time Requirement:  20 hrs/week 

Job Summary:  The Kitchen Assistant is a team player and extremely committed to preparing and serving fresh, tasty, quality food to our students, faculty, staff, and guests.

Primary Duties:  

• Assist with preparation, cooking, baking, and serving;
• Follow directions from the chef/baker;
• Set-up and breakdown of serving stations;
• Wash dishes;
• Clean and sanitize work areas;
• Work during kitchen hours of M-F 8:00AM – 1:30PM with occasional evenings and weekends.

Requirements:

• Possess organization skills;
• Ability to multitask;
• Ability to attend work consistently and punctually.

• Commitment to TSM’s vision, values, purpose, and Statement of Faith;
• Ability to interact pleasantly with faculty, staff, students, and visitors.

 

Preferred Requirements:  

• Previous experience in a cooking/baking environment, preferred;
• High school diploma or equivalent.
