The Certificate of Diaconal Studies (CDS) is a non-credit, non-degree program of instruction designed to provide students the academic foundation they need for ordination into the Anglican diaconate. When a student is in the program in conjunction with his or her diocese, the diocese provides the practical, pastoral, contextual training for the diaconate, while Trinity provides the academic/theological training.
