The Diploma in Anglican Studies (DAS) is designed to provide a rich understanding of worldwide Anglicanism for those who have already studied the basic theological disciplines. The DAS is intended for leaders in the Anglican Communion and those seeking ordination, as well as those transitioning into the Anglican Communion from another denomination.
The DAS program is 18 credits. The DAS can be completed entirely in residence at our Ambridge campus, online, or through a combination of residential and online study. There is no residency requirement for the DAS.
Residential students generally take 4-5 courses per term in Fall and Spring, supplementing as desired with January & June intensives. Most residential students graduate after 1 year of full-time study. Hybrid/online students generally take 1-2 courses per term in Fall, Spring, and Summer, supplementing as desired with January & June intensives. Most online students graduate after 1-2 years of part-time study.
